... so Penny and I set off for the beach again. It was so warm and sunny, we spent a lot of time on the sand topless. Yes, we're both working on our 'all overs'.
Penny has always been a bit wimpy when it comes to swimming, but of course the water has been freezing all winter, so I haven't pushed her on it. But today, it was so beautiful and hot, that I decided, if it was good enough for me as a kid, well then it's good enough for Penny. So, I picked her up and tossed her straight in!
She got a bit of a fright I guess, and she was out nearly as fast as she was in, but she then spent the next ten minutes jumping, rolling, skidding and sprinting across the sands, having a ball! So we did it again.
And of course her cuteness level is at maximun when she's wet...
On the way back we checked out the new Landsdown Road Stadium, which is beginning to take shape as they put the retractable roof segments in. As you can see, the flood works work on the river Dodder there at Irish Town are also continuing.
And at Grand Canal Dock, the new theatre is also beginning to come together as they put the glass front on.
