Glad you liked it and I completely agree that Minnie was a well deserved winner. Hers was one of the only other acts I got to see on the night and I adored it; she's a true star. Posted By Arbie2 22 Mar 2012 00:07 This act was very good (don't get me wrong) - very slick - but it was too much in the same vein as Opus Gei (I imagine this was the brain child of one uber fabulous Donal Mulligan). It was as if the spirit of Opus Gei was lingering in the background. The winner was slightly fresher and original in this regard. Brilliant night though - sad to see the competition end...I only hope that Donal's penchant for high camp and theatrics will not go to waste and be put to equally good use in some new venture to replace AMI - Gay Christmas must go on!
