Lorem Ipsum Page 1 of 494 1 \| 2 \| 3 \| 4 \| 5 » 07 Aug 2012 The annual March For Marriage and a special Make & Do Do The annual March For Marriage takes place this Sunday, August 12th in Dublin, gathering at City Hall at the top of Dame Street at 3pm and marching to the Dáil. There has been a great turn out the last few years, and a great, dare-I-say fun atmosphere. With a year and a half of civil partnerships behind us at this stage, it somehow seems even more silly that there isn't simple equality. Anyway, Penny and I will be there. She loves a good march through town and is very supportive of marriage equality, so she is. But before that, on Thursday evening in Pantibar at 10pm, we'll be having a special Make & Do Do to make placards, banners, signs etc for the march. The good people of NOISE will be providing the necessary materials, and I'll be providing a prize for the best one. Helmut haired Breda O'Brien and the ultra impressionable John Waters are doing down with this sort of thing placards. Single mother Brenda Power (a fact she cleverly airbrushes out of the picture) is on loud-speaker duty ready to remind everyone at the outrageous behaviour of the gays last time she opened her bigoted gob.
