... we're going to give Bunny the night off tonight. She deserves one, and her winter coat hasn't quite come in fully yet so she's feeling the chill. However, all her guests from tonight's show are going to join her guests next week, so next Tuesday will be a mega-ginormous, Xmas box-sized Hutch. Yey!

If you moved the national populations of the world around so that the most populous nation lived in the country with the largest area, and the smallest population lived in the smallest country etc, interestingly the people of Ireland, the USA, Brazil and Yemen would stay where they are, while everyone else would have to up sticks and move. And the world would look very different. (click map for bigger version, and click again to enlarge further)

Tomorrow is World AIDS Day, and although we are experiencing arctic conditions and the snow is still coming down, a group of hardy/insane individuals are going to be sleeping out on the streets of Dublin for 24 hours to raise money for Open Heart House, the resource centre and peer support group for people living with HIV/AIDS.
Reader Aidan, artist Will StLeger (whose work has appeared often on the blog), and journalist Una Mullally are among the people who will be braving the freezing conditions at College Green from noon tomorrow. If you are around Dublin city centre please go along and give them some encouragement - and hot tea/whiskey and any cash you can spare. I'm sure they would appreciate it. And you can donate online HERE.
I don't doubt their resolve, but I'm sure heir tiny gay hearts sank when they saw the weather conditions. Respect!

Cutie queer performance artist Anthony Keigher (whom I've mentioned previously) will be performing a new piece called Catering tomorrow at 6pm at the Institute of Art Design and Technology in Dunlaoghaire. He seems to have a thing about food.

With music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, directed by Broadway big-wig Julie Taymor, and costing a record breaking $60 million, Spiderman had it's first preview this weekend. The show involves intricate, high-tech flying sequences and the preview had to be stopped a number of times as actors were left dangling over the audience.
The show has had a rocky road to opening, and nearly came a cropper on two occasions - once when they ran out of money, and more dramatically when the original producer came to The Edge's apartment with the contracts to sign, and when The Edge went to get a pen, the guy had a seizure and died!
US show 60 Minutes has a report on the production, below.
In related Spoderman stuff... in the new movie, Tobey Maguire is gone and Spiderman is being played by the British-American actor Andrew Garfield, who you may have seen recently playing the guy who got fucked over by Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network.

... which a number of you have mailed me to comment on, but the truth is that I've been having a passionate affair, and unlike you people, he's in 3D so he wins by a dimension. Deal with it. Normal service will no doubt resume slowly, 'cos there's only so much a girl can take without breaking. Unless I dump him. Whichever happens first.

More of Woody being a filthy pan-sexual slut HERE.
