Bukkake is picking up it's drippings and moving this Bank Holiday Sunday. But it's not going far - just around the corner to 4 Dame Lane, which I think is a perfect venue for it. I always thought the gays should be making more use of that venue.

I see Dublin's longest running club night, Tueday stalwart Glitz (which is coming up on it's tenth birthday soon, no small feat in club land) is moving venue. If it were any other club I'd worry, because it's not easy to move venues, but Glitz has proved remarkably resilient, and if memory serves me right, it's new home in Sin in Temple Bar will be it's third (fourth?) in those ten years. It's been based in Dandelion on Stephen's Green for the last three years, but promotor Declan McGreggor tells me it's time to move back into the thick of things. Good luck to Declan and the rest of the Glitz gang in their new home.

The Mean Girls' Burn Book is back at F.A.G. tonight in Andrew's Lane. I guess there wasn't enough burning done the last time.
When you are done burning your mates come see me upstairs in Panti's Lair. Though I'll also be doing a number on the main stage downstairs at some point if my old bones can manage the stairs.

I'd never seen this great little documentary before. (I see it was uploaded to YouTube earlier this year by Leigh's friend and sometime collaborator Stella Stein) It's fronted by Hugh Laurie and it's charming and funny and kind of inspiring. At the time, Leigh was making his mark but hadn't quite exploded yet. The film includes footage shot at Leigh's legendary club taboo and interviews include Michael Clark.
