The good folks at Thames & Hudson have given me two copies of Kylie / Fashion to give away. Squeeeeeeaaaal! It's gorgeous.

It's a lavishly illustrated large format hardback celebrating Kylie's 25 years in the business through her fasion and costume work with some of the biggest names in fashion and design. It is "curated" by William Baker, Kylie's long-time collaborator and creative director, has an introduction by Gaultier, and the dazzling photographs (candid shots of Kylie being dressed by the designers, promo shots, stage shots from her tours...) and design illustrations are accompanied by specially written texts by some of the many designers and stylists Kylie has worked with, including Dolce & Gabbana, Loubutin, Stella McCartney and many more. And of course from Kylie herself. The Kylie fans among you will wet yerselves.
"This book charts my relationship with some of the most talented people in fashion throughout my career. It makes me very proud to see gathered together all the great designers and houses I've worked with over the years. Looking through my personal archives has been a real trip down memory lane and it is the fashion that brings back moments and memories of the last twenty-five years." - Kylie Minogue
To enter, see below these few pics from the book:

TO ENTER: Send me an e-mail at PANTIBLISS@GMAIL.COM putting 'KYLIE' in the subject line, and answer this question:
The video for which Kylie song heavily featured a pair cheap, gold, second-hand hotpants that made Kylie's pert bum an icon in it's own right?
I'll pick two winners at random next Monday. Good luck!

9 to 5 The Musical is coming to the Grand Canal Theatre (you can call it the Bórd Gáis Energy Theatre if you want, but you and I can no longer be friends) later this month and I have a pair of tickets to give away to opening night on Monday January 21st.
The show is, of course, based on the 1980 hit movie of the same name starring Dolly, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin (and which also featured Dolly's smash hit title song Working 9 to 5) and Dolly herself wrote all the music for the stage version which opened on Broadway in 2009.
TO ENTER: just drop me an e-mail to pantibliss@gmail.com putting 9 to 5 in the subject line, and then complete this line:
"Tumble outta bed, and stumble to the kitchen, ___ ______ _ ___ __ _______"
I'll chose a winner at random next Monday the 14th, so you'll have a week to find a date and plan yer outfit an' all.

The Late Fragments are one of te most exciting new bands to come out of Dublin in recent years, and after crowd funding campaign on FundIt, they are releasing their debut EP with a gig at Crawdaddy next Friday.
Their sound is guitar led rock with a pop sensibility, as with the album's lead single Everything Ends (below). And it doesn't hurt that they're easy on the eye too.
I have a few pairs of tickets to the launch - where you'll also get a copy of the album - to give away.
To enter, just drop me an e-mail to PANTI@IRELAND.COM with your name, and put 'Late Fragments' in the subject line. I'll pick the winners at random on Wednesday evening.
The album will be available on iTunes from Nov 17th.

The Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival begins on September 29th and runs for just over two weeks. As always there is a huge range of productions from around the world to see and you can see the full programme and book tickets at the festival website.
One of the most anticipated shows is Gardenia at the Gaiety by one of the world's most influential dance theatre companies, les ballets C de la B (Belgium) who are returning to the festival after entrancing Dublin audiences in 2006.
"Gardenia is a flamboyant and defiant tale featuring seven ageing transsexuals and transvestites, who, through fake eyelashes, glitter and gloss, convey the indomitable nature of the human spirit. Sometimes hilarious often poignant, this glitter-dusted mix of song, dance, theatre and cabaret is a shimmering yet deeply tender experience that defies categorisation.
A unique collaboration between the celebrated musical director Frank Van Laecke and the multi award-winning Alain Platel, one of the world's leading directors and choreographers, Gardenia comes to Dublin having taken the world by storm following its première at the illustrious Avignon Festival in 2010."
You can read The Stage's review from the show's Brighton Festival run HERE.

I have four pairs of tickets to give away for the opening night of the show in The Gaiety on October 10th.
To enter simply e-mail me (panti@ireland.com) with your full name, and put FESTIVAL COMPETITION in the subject line. Simples!
The competition will close next Friday and I'll get Bláthnaid McGee to randomly chose the winners. I'll get Bláthnaid to do it because she doesn't know anybody who goes to the theatre so it'll be fair and unbiased.

LGBT choir Gloria's annual Pride concert takes place in the National Concert Hall in Dublin on Saturday June 11th. It's always a really lovely evening - fun, relaxed, great music (from classical to disco!) and has a really great proper community atmosphere. (And I don't mean that in a Jesus-sandals and granola way, I mean it in the best possible way!) I always think it's the perfect kind of event to bring your mother to or something - not because it's fuddy-duddy (it's not) but because it shows off the gay community at it's best: inclusive, hard-working, talented, fun, happy, together.
I'll be there myself as per usual because I'm emcee-ing.
Anyway, I have four pairs of tickets to give away. To enter, just e-mail the lovely Ian (iano.doyle@gmail.com) with your full name, putting COMPETITION in the headline, and he will pick four lucky winners at random.
Entries close midnight this Sunday, June 5th.
Good luck and I'll see the winners there.
Also, they are still looking for more men to join them in their special "friends and family" rendition of Cyndi Lauper's True Colours. Apparently they already have the full quotient of ladies! So if you are a fella and you'd like to be part of the concert and perform with the choir at the National Concert Hall...
