Regular readers will know I love models and miniatures so of course I like these mazing tiny food models. In fact, I've blogged artist Shay Aaron's stuff before a long time ago, but my gay Graham sent me a link this morning and I thought they were adorable enough for a second outing. Now if I can just find a similarly scaled fella I'd be set.
Loads more pics on Flickr, he's on Facebook, and if you want, you can even buy miniature food jewelry from him on Etsy.

(thanks Graham)

I've featured the "Little People" work of artist Slinkachu on the blog before, and these images are for a new solo exhibition in London.

Regular readers will know that I love models and miniatures, so the installation workworkworkworkwork by artist Charles LeDray currently in the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York is right up my tiny alley. The attention to detail is amazing.

If you've ever messed around with stop-motion, you'll realise how fantastic this is. Made at Aardman (of Wallace and Grommit fame), the whole thing is shot using a CellScope which is essentially a camera attached to a microscope. The girl, Dot, is only 9mm tall as she races through a miniature world.

Dalton Ghetti makes these pretty remarkable miniature sculptures, carved into the tips of pencils. More HERE.

In 1977, Scott Weaver decided to replicate the Golden Gate Bridge with toothpicks. When the 17-year-old finished that structure, he just kept going. What started as a pastime became an all-consuming quest to, as he puts it, “blow people’s minds” with toothpicks. Mission accomplished.
