Forlorn Soul is a new track from ELEVENS, the Dublin band fronted by Martin McCann - who is of course well known to the gays as a DJ, bear party promotor and all round good egg. Forlorn Soul will appear on their upcoming new album.

... the highly anticipated new album from Daft Punk (featuring Giorgio Moroder and Nile Rodgers no less) heralded the end of the now-so-tired, ubiquitous, over-produced, hip hop-lite/pop sound and a return to a more soulful disco sound. Here's hopin'!

... to laugh at someone who's having some trouble with English as a second language, cos after all, how well would we do singinging in Mandarin or Tagalog or whatever, but for the sake of the LOLs let's just put those considerations aside and enjoy this because there's no two ways about it - it's hilarious!
(thanks Chris)

Record Store Gay is an offshoot of the international Record Store Day which is an annual celebration of diversity in music. This year's Record Store Gay event with live bands, a pop up record store, a few drinks etc is happening in Outhouse, the gay resource centre on Capel Street, on Saturday April 20th all day from midday to 8pm.
Here's a cute teaser for it featuring a gang of indie gays trying to do justice to Naimh Kavanagh's "In Your Eyes" on those sugar whistle things (that I haven't seen in years).
