Lorem Ipsum Page 1 of 1 09 Jul 2011 If You Want to See Me Do My Thing, Pull My String The Fifth Dimension are best-known for chart toppers like Age of Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In and Wedding Bell Blues, but this rousing cover of the Tom Jones Puppet Man, with it's vegas-style horns and searing guitar bits, is one of my favorite pop tunes ever. (It's a fabulous lip-synch number, too). And the Muppets obviously agree. Posted by Angelo. music \| muppets \| puppets Comments 1 01 Apr 2011 The incredible War Horse puppet I have read the book War Horse (one of those children's books that is just as enjoyable as an adult) and would have loved to have seen the stage production at the National Theatre in London, but didn't. I had heard that the puppet horses in the stage production were amazing, and so I made sure to catch the Channel 4 documentary Making War Horse, when it was on over Christmas. The puppet horses were indeed amazing. Incredible really. (I checked and unfortunately Making War Horse is not currently available on 4oD) However the puppeteers Adrian Kohler and Basil Jones recently gave a fascinating talk at TED about the designing of the puppets. The incredible puppet is introduced to the stage about the 9min mark. Watch it and be amazed. P.S.
